The beads and the bubble

Those days when I'm really down I always locate my beads and make things. This time I made one very long necklace and one bracelet. Very pretty. The pic here is from one of my other bead projects - one I had last summer after a quarrel with my mom. Sorry about my fair skin though, not very pretty. ;)

Making these things always makes me feel better. I think it's because I really hate how the hole in the bead is almost too small for the string, and every bead is a struggle. It puts perspective on my own problems and it makes them easier to deal with.

My next project, on the other hand, is getting our new fab IKEA book shelf up and running in our living room. The shelf is green (like the others) and will soon soon be full of the books and things we have laying round. This cleaning and organizing thing that people keep buzzing about has never been for me and K. Maybe later.
